Neon Tiki Tribe “Super Positive Superheroes” Book Series Review
I am passionate about surrounding my kids with high quality children’s books series and my seven year old especially loves reading about super heroes. Neon Tiki Tribe is an exciting new book series that introduces children to “The Brightest Heroes on Earth” and my children love it!
Created by J. Greg Devlin, written by Joe Lorenzano and illustrated by Greg Clark each of the three books features the “Super Positive Superheroes” characters of the Neon Tiki Tribe including a young man named Greg and his dog, Sniff-Sniff who battle the Evil Ku Tiki Tribe. This creative acronym inspired book series i.e. Thoughtful, Intelligent, Kind Individual (Tiki) features moral stories that are appealing to young children of all ages. I also like that this series features dyslexic friendly text too.
In their favorite story which is book #1 of the series, Tiki Beach Battle, Greg, Sniff-Sniff and the Neon Tiki Tribe are headed to the beach for a day of surfing and fun. Ready to spoil the fun (and the environment) is the Evil Ku Tiki Tribe that thinks it is fun to pollute the ocean with trash endangering sea life such as turtles. Will the Neon Tiki Tribe be able to stop the Evil Ku Tiki Tribe? My son read this book to his four and five year old siblings and they were riveted and engaged in this story from start to finish.
Additional exciting adventure stories continue with Dog Rescue Mission and Playground Push Around which addresses the all too serious issue of bullying in a way that children will understand. The children and I enjoy the exciting story lines and bold, interesting illustrations. My kids enjoyed the characters and even spent the afternoon role-playing their favorite Tiki superheroes while their boxer, Jack was assigned the role of Evil Ku Tiki Tribe member.
You are invited to visit the Neon Tiki Tribe website to learn all about the children’s book series and select your favorite titles which are available for purchase for only $7.95 per copy.
