Week 47 on Nutrisystem #NSNation
Just as I expected, I saw a drop in my weight after a gain due to two weekend trips in a row. I was very relieved to see that my weight had dropped to 136.4 lbs. I usually seem to maintain around 135 lbs., so I should have no trouble getting myself 100% back on track.
As I’ve mentioned in previous weeks, I owe all of my weight loss to only eating correctly. I have tried a few exercise programs, but have not been able to find something that I loved that I would be willing to stick with.
I enjoy walking, but it is hard to break my habit of walking somewhere with a purpose. Usually my walking trips have brought me to a particular restaurant or sweet treat establishment.
I have recently purchased some new workout clothes (the pair of pants I bought before I started Nutrisystem are now too big, so yay for that!!), and have been looking into getting started with running. I’m klutzy, so I have a difficult time with any type of exercise that involves anything that resembles any sort of dance steps. Simple and basic is what I need to do, so running seems to be my best option.
I have also found a new friend in my apartment complex who is also losing weight, and we have been good support systems for each other. We have plans to walk together with our kids, and have even been able to plan meals together that work with both of our meal plans. Having a good support system in friends is necessary to succeed on any diet program.
