Tuesday’s Top Blogs According to Sweet Tiny Blessings
Welcome to Tuesday’s Top Blogs! Come and discover some new and interesting blogs. Each week I will feature a different person and ask them to list their five favourite blogs and why they like them. This week, I’m pleased to have Mandi from Sweet Tiny Blessings joining us.
I’m Mandi, a former teacher turned stay-at-home mom to my Sweet Tiny Blessing, Baby C. I’m also a wife, friend, sister and daughter.
I started blogging in April of 2011 as therapy. I was having a hard time moving past the illnesses of Baby C and I. Just three short weeks after giving birth, I was sent to the hospital with retained placenta. After my D&C, my symptoms only grew worse. Shortly, there after, I was diagnosed with an E.Coli Infection and a kidney stone. And just two days later, Baby C was admitted into the hospital with Bacterial Spinal Meningitis from Salmonella.
Both, Baby C and I, have physically recovered from our illnesses. No doubt in my mind, it was the Lord’s healing hand that protected and healed us. I created this blog to share my love of my family with humor, love, faith and even giveaways!
A Holy Experience: A Holy Experience is written by Ann Voskamp, the author of A Thousand Gifts. Her writing, prayers and heart is so beautiful. Her blog has been a blessings in my life. I enjoy participating in the Joy Dare every week (counting my gifts to 1000).
Life Rearranged: Life Rearranged is not just a mommy blog, it’s a blog about encouraging each other and fundraising for special causes. And she does it with such humor. I also love linking up to her Insta-Friday posts using Instagram.
Raising Paityn: Raising Paityn is written by a very beautiful, confident and inspiring mommy. She writes about her children, her bio and adoptive daughters. I love reading her blog because she always keeps it real.
Expanding: Expandng is written by a mommy of a toddler, very close to my daughter’s age. So, I love learning from her and sharing advice. Her blogs is one of my favorites because she is always so loving to her readers. She answers each question and responds to every comment. Even though I’m not a photographer, her photos are awesome and so are her tips.
The Mommyhood Chronicles: I’m a giveaway-aholic and Melissa from the Mommyhood Chronicles has the best giveaways! She also has a toddler close to my daughter’s age, so her tips and struggles are usually the same as mine.
