My Nicholas Sparks Movie Marathon #TheLuckyOne @WB_Home_Ent
A word of advice. If you are watching a Nicholas Sparks movie, bring tissues! Yesterday, I did a Nicholas Sparks movie marathon and watched four films. I bawled my eyes out in each one. It was an emotional day!
I watched A Walk to Remember, Message in a Bottle, The Notebook and Nights in Rodanthe. I’d seen the first three movies years ago, but hadn’t seen Nights in Rodanthe. Even though I had watched them before, they still affected me. Out of the four of them, I would say The Notebook is my favourite. I love Ryan Gosling (!) and Rachel McAdams, both Canadian actors. I marveled at how young they look!
On August 28, The Lucky One makes its debut. It’s another movie based on a Nicholas Sparks’ bestseller. I’m sure it will be a tearjerker too.
About The Lucky One:
Based on Nicholas Sparks’ bestseller The Lucky One, Zac Efron (“17 Again,” “Charlie St. Cloud”) stars alongside Taylor Schilling (TV’s “Mercy”) and Blythe Danner (“Meet the Parents” franchise) in this romantic drama directed by Academy Award®-nominated writer/director Scott Hicks (“Shine,” “No Reservations”).
U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
What Nicholas Sparks movies have you watched? Which one is your personal favourite?

I would love to win this. Nicholas Sparks is the only man that can make my husband cry, lol!
I enjoyed A Walk To Remember. I still haven’t seen Message In A Bottle, though.
I have seen “A Walk To Remember” (the book is so much better), “Nights in Rodanthe”, “Message In A Bottle”, “The Notebook”, “The Last Song”, “Dear John” and “The Lucky One”. “The Notebook” is my favorite. All of Nicholas Sparks’ movies & books make me cry. He certainly knows how to put emotion in his writings. Most of the movies have a slightly different ending than the book. So I always like to read the book and see the movie, but not necessarily in that order.
I’ve seen Nights in Rodanthe, and A Walk to Remember, and I know I’ve seen at least part of The Notebook.
