Command Back to School Review

Getting ready for back to school does not only include shopping for school supplies & new clothes. It also means getting your home ready for the craziness. My girls have a habit of walking in the door and dropping everything on the floor. It’s a pain to have my entry way be an obstacle course of backpacks, coats and whatever else they are carrying. Now is the time to get organized and ready!

I recently installed two Command Traditional Metallic Coated Hooks in my front hall and a kid friendly height. This is the perfect height for Bridget to be able to hang her backpack/coat  and it will keep my entrance way clutter free!

Not only are these hooks functional, but they are also stylish and fit nicely into my decor.

What I love most though is how simple they were to install! You don’t need any tools…just your hands a little pressure to apply them to the wall. It took me less than 2 minutes to get them up. The directions were on the back and were easy to follow. The first step is to clean the wall surface with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Next apply the red adhesive liner and align on the back of the hook pressing firmly. Remove the black adhesive liner and press the hook firmly on the wall for 30 seconds. Wait an hour and then you can use the hook!

As you can see they work and are holding nicely! They hold up to 5 lbs.

You can also remove the hooks easily if you decide you don’t like where you put them with damaging your wall. There’s an extra adhesive strip included in your package if you need it! So far, I’ve been happy with the hooks and where they are located so I haven’t had to take them down.

Command Hooks come in a variety of sizes and styles. I’m using the Command Traditional Medium Hook I received on the back of our bathroom doors.

You can buy Command Hooks at Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Home Hardware, Loblaw, London Drugs, Office Pro, Rona, Staples, and Walmart across Canada.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
