LEGO SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party Review
I’m excited to announce that I’m part of the new Nickelodeon Moms blogger program! This means lots of new toys to share with my readers (and giveaways too!) like this one: LEGO SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party building playset!
I don’t know who was more excited to see this playset: John or Bridget. Bridget has been watching SpongeBob on TV for years now and John is crazy about LEGO. He’s 37 years old, but still a kid at heart.
John and Bridget worked on setting up Bikini Bottom together. She’s 7 years old and would have been fine doing it on her own though. It comes with a booklet with instructions that are all pictures and numbers making it easy to see how each piece is set. There are four separate packages included so they worked section by section following the steps in the manual. It took a couple hours to set up (of course, there were multiple breaks in there!). When it was ready, they called me in to admire their work and I was impressed! It was bright and colourful and even included the small details like decor inside the buildings!
Bridget ended up playing with the set and SpongeBob and his friends had a party. As you can see, there’s a DJ, drinks, seesaw, merry-go-round and more so it was a happenin’ party in Bikini Bottom.
The LEGO SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party building playset features:
- 4 MiniFigures: SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Mrs. Puff
- Gary also included
- DJ table and speakers, merry-go-round, seesaw, and juice bar with ice cabinet
- SpongeBob’s house with ejecting bed function and Gary’s bowl
- Squidward’s house with music stand and art studio
It’s geared towards kids age 6 to 12 and has 471 pieces for hours of fun. This is a wonderful way to keep kids busy setting up Bikini Bottom and using their imagination to continue playing after it’s completed.
You can find the LEGO SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Undersea Party building playset at Toys R US. Both John and Bridget saw another SpongeBob LEGO set for The Flying Dutchman advertised on the box and now want that one too!
