Happy 10th Birthday Crocs!
Crocs recently celebrated its 10th birthday! I can’t recall when I first heard about Crocs, but I remember these shoes being the talk everywhere! Everyone had a pair including my parents, co-workers and even my kids! My mom loved them so much she bought both my daughters a pair. I never did get a pair of my own until very recently! John has been wearing his pair since we moved to Nova Scotia three years ago.
I now am the owner of a pair of Crocskin Classic Clogs (ARV $44.99), a special edition pair of clogs that has the look of crocodile skin with the trademark Crocs comfort. I now see what I was missing. People are right; these are very comfy shoes. Mine are black which suits me perfectly since I wear a lot of black and it goes with pretty much everything. They are great to wear just in the house or for a walk along the shore. If you want a pair like mine, don’t wait too long to buy them because they are only available for a limited time at select retailers across Canada.
What makes Crocs unique is the proprietary material the shoes are made with. It’s called Croslite and it makes the shoes lightweight, soft and very comfortable.
I didn’t realize that there was more than 300 styles of Crocs on the market! From Crocs Cobbler High Boots to Crocs A-Leigh Wedge Leather sandals, I’m loving their selection. You can find Crocs at major retailers across Canada including Sears, SoftMoc, The Shoe Company and Sport Chek. Plus they have 13 Crocs stores: 6 in the Greater Toronto Area, Vancouver, Whistler, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear they have opened a store in the Maritimes where I live, but I hope one day they do!
I’ll leave you with a timeline of Croc’s evolution to learn more how this innovative footwear company began!
