Grab a Scab Review

As the mother of three young children, I always dread finding a tear or rip in one of their good clothes. I am not big on ironing so I was very excited to discover Grab a Scab. This neat product is so innovative because there is absolutely no ironing or sewing required. It is a permanent stick-on fabric sticker patch that does not fray or easily peel off.

For a busy mom, Grab a Scab is ideal. All I had to do is lay the clothing flat and peel off the backing of the “scab”. Then I firmly pressed the Scab onto the pants and rubbed it vigorously, tossing it in the dryer on tumble, low heat for ten minutes as recommended in the instructions.

Grab a Scab can even be used on back packs, water bottles, jeans or accessorize lots of different things. If you write on it with permanent ink it will stay on even through washings too.

My kids think that Grab a Scab is really neat and they love the fun styles and designs. I like that I have an easy, effective option to save a damaged piece of clothing which saves me time and money as well. If you have a child with a food allergy then you may want to check out the “Caution” food allergy stickers that would be great for a lunch box or pack etc. I like the patriotic, American Flag patch (the Canadian flag is neat too) and my kids love the fun characters for boys and girls. These are great for repairing clothes but also fun accessories too. I thought that the American Flag patch would be a neat accessory to update their shirt for July 4th.

You are invited to visit Grab a Scab to purchase your favorite permanent stick-on fabric stickers. I will be stocking up because at $4.50 per scab it is an affordable alternative to constantly replacing my children’s clothing.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
