Bowman Art Review
David Bowman has been given two very special gifts……….the author of “What Would Our Founding Fathers Think” is also a talented artist of beautiful Christ centered artwork. The Expressions of Christ fine art collection is visually stunning and really captures the emotions of Jesus Christ as a “Healer”, “Savior” and “Advocate”. He also captures perfectly the innocence of the children in “Innocence”, “Adoration”, “My Child”, “Joy” and “Precious”.
My family and I love the “Advocate” painting and it is proudly displayed next to three pictures of my children on our living room wall. It is accentuated nicely in the frame and the picture itself is just beautiful. We have received so many compliments from friends and family who have visited our home and really enjoy looking at this lovely piece. In this art, in the author’s own words he was conveying his conviction that:
“Here, Jesus isn’t just praying to the Father; He’s praying to the Father for us. He is ever making intercession in our behalf (Hebrews 7:25). I picture Christ pleading with the Father that our sins will be forgiven not according to our own merits, but according to our faith in Him and His grace and sacrifice. It’s personal. Your own name and situation might very well be on His lips as the Savior begs for mercy for your sake. With Christ championing our cause, how can we fail?”
In my opinion, David Bowman has succeeded brilliantly and it led to a family discussion about forgiveness and the power of prayer.
My five year old daughter loves the “Security” print and requested that it be placed in her room because it makes her feel good that “Jesus loves and protects all children”. This print is very powerful and moving to me as a mother and looking at it brings me comfort too feeling that my own children would be embraced lovingly by Christ.
Rarely do I find artwork that “speaks to me” but I was immediately drawn to the Expressions of Christ collection by David Bowman. The attention to detail in the entire fine Christian art collection is stunning and each piece is so realistic and life-like capturing the emotions and expressions brilliantly. The pieces are very affordable for virtually every budget with 8×10 prints starting at only $9.95, matted 16×20 pieces are $39.00 and framed pieces are $99.00. I am proud to display these pieces in our home and I am so excited to invite you to visit the artist’s website to view the entire Expressions of Christ collection. Which one speaks to you…………….?
