Spiffies Review

If you read my personal blog, you might have noticed that I am somewhat obsessed with my son’s dental hygiene. My own teeth are a bit crooked, while my husband’s are perfectly straight. I want baby’s perfect little teeth to stay straight. I brush his teeth after every meal and at bedtime. I am obsessed. But when CJ first started getting teeth, I worried about how I was going to keep them clean. Then I heard about Spiffies and their dental products made for babies and toddlers.

Let me give you a little background on the Spiffies products. For babies, they have Baby Teething Wipes and for toddlers, they have I Can Brush cleaning gel. Both products are made with Xylitol, which is a natural plant-based sweetener. Spiffies sent me two packs of teething wipes and a bottle of the cleaning gel. CJ let me use the teething wipes on him for a little while before he decided he was too big for that. I think he mainly just enjoyed the taste. The wipes come in mango, apple, and grape flavors. To use, you just wrap the wipe around your (clean) finger, then wipe along your baby’s gums. It wipes away anything that might be in their mouths. Did you know that even though babies mouths are naturally clean, they can pick up germs from us parents. When we give our babies kisses on the mouths, germs are transferred. I actually learned this from my dentist just the other day. If that fact grosses you out as much as it does me, you should think about getting these wipes.

CJ loves the teething gel now that he brushes his own teeth. The dentist gave him a big boy brush, so I put a little of the gel on there and he goes to town. The gel we got is grape flavored and he loves it. His favorite part is when I clean his tongue, probably because he loves the taste.

In addition to the Baby Teething Wipes and I Can Brush gel, Spiffies has a ton of other products to help you keep your young child’s teeth clean. They have finger toothbrushes, an oval-shaped Safe-T toothbrush, and mint Swisherz. Their website is adorable, since it is run by Tooth Fairy. If you go to their site you can find their deal of the day and find some tips straight from the Tooth Fairy. A package containing Baby Teething Wipes and I Can Brush gel costs from $18.99 to $23.99 depending on the deal of the day, or you could win a pack right here on Simply Stacie.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
