Sentry Safe Review
We all have important documents, photos and items that we want to keep safe. Items that are on our “if we ever have a fire, we need to grab these” list. I know we have quite a few of these items in our home – including our passports, social security cards, our children’s newborn photos and other important bank and insurance papers. I’ve always had my eye out for an affordable and reliable safe solution for us and now I’ve found one in Sentry Safe.
Sentry Safe sent me their new and improved fire safe chest for review – the Sentry Safe 1200, which retails for $19.99. It’s an affordable solution for keeping your important items safe from theft and fire. The new and improved features of the Sentry Safe 1200 include ideal key-lock placement, an improved ergonomic handle for comfort and a new contoured design. The safe comes with 2 sets of keys, so that you can keep one close by and the other in a safe location like a relative’s home or a bank safe deposit box. It’s a sturdy piece of equipment that can hold quite a lot of documents and smaller items like watches, CDs, DVDs, etc. The safe is constructed to withstand temperatures to 1550 Fahrenheit over a half hours’ time – hopefully plenty of time for recovery if anything should happen to your home.
I feel better having this chest in our home. I feel better having our most important documents and memories safely tucked into this fire chest – and I hope we never have to experience its full potential!
