Rubbermaid® LunchBlox™ Review & Giveaway (Can)
I pack my husband’s lunch box for work every day. He enjoys eating sandwiches and salads but because he works 13 hour shifts everything would be soggy or wilted so he preferred that I not pack those for his meals. I recently discovered the Rubbermaid® LunchBlox™ containers that feature a Salad Kit and a Sandwich Kit. Finally, there is a solution that will allow my husband to enjoy a healthy, crisp salad and a fresh sandwich at work or on the go.
The Rubbermaid® LunchBlox™ Salad Kit is an ingenious design to pack everything together but still keep extras separate until ready to eat. There is a container to hold a generous portion of salad, a separate container to store the dressing and a divided tray which holds cheese, tomatoes, eggs, croutons, nuts etc. Finally, the individual parts come together and nest on top of the Blue Ice® which keeps everything cool and crisp! My husband enjoyed his first salad in the LunchBlox™ at work recently and said it was easier than ever to put his salad together when he was ready to eat it and it tasted as good as if it had just been made at home. The lids have a very secure fit so everything stayed in place and all the components were still together in his lunch box when he opened it up to eat.
The same concept goes for the handy LunchBlox™ Sandwich Kit which has side and snack containers. These are great for adults and children alike since it is a wonderful way to keep everything organized. I like the design of the compartments because it holds a full sized sandwich and side items and snacks. For the sandwich, my husband likes his condiments (i.e. mayo and tomatoes) separate until ready to eat so that the bread does not get soggy. The Rubbermaid® LunchBlox™ makes this very easy with separate containers. I can also add fun, healthy extras such as nuts, cheese, raisins etc. The Sandwich Kit also features the Blue Ice® to keep everything cooler.
My family loves the Rubbermaid® LunchBlox™ Containers i.e. the Salad Kit and Sandwich Kit which we have used to pack lunch boxes for work, the kid’s summer camp and even in the cooler for family picnics. The kids think it is fun to discover what food item is in each of the containers and my husband loves that his food is organized and ready to eat.
