CoolMika Review

My youngest son Noah doesn’t like the heat, especially when riding in the car (he’s like me!). Part of the problem is that he seems so hot and uncomfortable in his car seat. Even with the air conditioning on, he always winds up with a wet sweaty hair and body. So with summer upon us here again in NY, it was perfect timing for a review of a breathable car seat liner from CoolMika.

CoolMika was founded by two parents who couldn’t find certain baby items they needed or were just dissatisfied with what was available on the market, so they decided to make their own products. CoolMika’s goal is to help make parent’s lives a little easier in these uncertain times.

I received a Comfy Breathable Car Seat Liner for review. The liner is designed to keep baby cool/dry in the summer and warm/dry in the winter with a four layer air mesh. The liner is lightweight and lays easily into any standard car seat. Designed to help keep baby comfortable, it also acts as a barrier for diaper accidents and spills. We tried the liner over Memorial Day weekend which happened to be very hot in NY! Temps were in the 90s here. I felt like the liner really made a difference for Noah. He seemed much less uncomfortable and less sweaty when we took him out of the seat. I like that the liner is machine washable and that it has been safety tested so will not affect infant car seat safety protection. It has also been flammability tested and the polyester is hypo-allergenic.

The Comfy Breathable Car Seat Liner is currently $30 on the CoolMika site (plus, you’ll receive bonus shoulder pads with your purchase!) and comes in a variety of colors. You can learn more about the liner and the other products CoolMika offers on their website and on Facebook.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
