Cool Cuts 4 Kids Review

Do you dread taking your children to the salon because they become frightened and cry or get bored and squirm around when the stylist tries to cut their hair? If you are looking for an alternative to high-stress haircuts for children then I highly recommend checking out Cool Cuts 4 Kids salons which are located across the United States!

Cool Cuts 4 Kids specializes in the hair care needs of children and offers a wide variety of services including haircuts, treatments, styles, 1st haircuts and trendy or special occasion looks. What makes Cool Cuts 4 Kids so special is that each location has an entertainment zone which has fun toys, video games and movies… will actually look forward to their next visit to the salon! The stylists are very friendly and are prepared to work with any child who may be hesitant, scared or has special needs. Therefore, moms can simply relax and leave any anxiety at the door while their child is having fun getting pampered!

Both of my boys had their 1st hair cuts at Cool Cuts 4 Kids and it was such a sweet experience. In fact, I still have the little clipping of their hair in the card that I was given by the stylist at the end of their haircuts and keep it in their memory books. The salon chairs and stations are set up in fun designs like my boys’ favorite which is the little yellow car that they can pretend to drive while they are getting their hair cut. Older kids can enjoy playing Xbox games or watching a movie while getting their haircut too.

My five year old daughter, Hannah was excited to have her hair cut and styled recently at Cool Cuts 4 Kids in Sanford, Florida. When we arrived at the salon we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and Hannah’s eyes grew wide when she saw the play area. She played for a few minutes with a toy train set while I looked over the variety of hair care products that are available for purchase.

We then met with the stylist and store manager, Kristi Vik for the consultation in the Princess station which is stylishly decorated for any young princess. I explained to her that Hannah has a bad habit of twirling her hair to soothe herself and it has caused pieces of her hair to break off. The stylist listened to what I was saying and then showed me where Hannah’s hair was uneven because of the twirling. We “negotiated” on how much to take off of the length in order to even it up since Hannah wants her hair to grow long. After we had agreed on the style of the cut, Hannah was pampered with a relaxing shampoo. While her hair was being cut, Hannah enjoyed watching a children’s movie that was playing on her own television in the Princess station. After the haircut, Hannah had styling product applied and a light blow dry. As a finishing touch, the stylist added a bit of spray hair glitter and also added a glitter heart on her cheek. Hannah LOVED this fun extra and commented on how the entire experience was “so much fun……I can’t wait to go back!”

We had a wonderful experience at Cool Cuts 4 Kids and definitely plan to go back. This is also a great place to go if you need any hair care products or fun hair accessories. I purchased a six pack of glitter flower clips for Hannah for only $3.99. With summer coming up, it means lots of fun at the beach and in our pool for the kids so I was able to check out several children’s hair product lines developed for specifically for chlorine and salt water.

If your child is ready for a new summer look then you are invited to visit Cool Cut 4 Kids to learn more and to find a location near you!
