ZinFrames Review

I am in no way an interior designer. My idea of decorating is simple – a ton of bookcases and pictures. But I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. Every picture is a memory and what is better to decorate with than a memory? I am always on the look-out for beautiful frames to put my pictures in. I recently found out about a great company making “modern frames with a vintage twist”. Check out ZinFrames and their great selection.

Here is the frame I received. It is the Isabella frame style in the color Big Sea. This is supposed to be the most feminine of the frames but since I got it in the blueish color and used CJ’s baby picture, I don’t think it looks too feminine. I used it as the centerpiece on our mantel. I think it looks really good. I didn’t want to put a hole in our apartment walls, so I didn’t hang it up. The frame is made of very sturdy and somewhat heavy wood. The covering isn’t glass, it is acrylic. This makes it safe if it falls. The plastic looks cloudy until the picture is directly against it, then it becomes clear.

The best thing about ZinFrames is that each frame can be completely customized. The single frames come in ten styles and eleven colors. Below are some examples of the single frames and the colors.

You can also get frames with three, five, and even nine slots for pictures. You can also purchase inserts to turn the frame into a mirror, chalkboard, and white board. I think one of these mirrored would look great in an entryway. The frames start at $15 for a 2×3.5 frame and go up to $101 for an 11×16.

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
