Man Crates Review
I’m sure we all have men in our life that are hard to shop for. The men that we continually seem to buy the same thing over and over – boring and “safe” gifts like ties, handkerchiefs, and cufflinks. Maybe once in a while we give them a subscription to a cool magazine or a beer club, just to mix it up a little. My husband is one of those guys. Before his birthday and every gift giving holiday I wrack my brain trying to come up with not only a gift that’s practical that I know he’ll like, but also a gift that’s fun. If you have one or more of this type of guy in your life, there’s a new gift solution that’s sure to please – Man Crates.
Man Crates was created by Jon Beekman in an effort to cut through all the “bows, ribbons, and fluff” of traditional gift baskets and help gift-givers find the perfect gift solution for the men in their life. Man Crates are filled with things guys like – beef jerky, chips, candy, beers, gadgets and video games. There are pre-made crates filled with goodies to satisfy everyone from the man gamer in your life to the beer enthusiast or you can shoot them an email to discuss making a custom crate. Each crate comes with a crowbar to add to the manly experience.
I received the Original Man Crate for review. My husband was quite excited to use the crowbar to open it! Once he got it open, we were both impressed at how jam-packed the crate was – no bubble wrap or filler – every single inch of space was filled with goodies. The crate contained candy, chips, popcorn, beef jerky, crackers, nuts and cookies. My husband has taken a goody a day to work every day as a special treat. It truly is a fun gift to give, and all the treats make it a fun gift to receive! I’m glad I discovered Man Crates in time for my father’s 65th birthday which is coming up in July – I think he’d get a kick out of the Old School Crate (and I’m sure all his grandchildren would love to help him eat all the goodies!).
The Original Man Crate retails for $64.99. You can see the full line of Man Crates on their website.
