Title: Lion of Judah
At 3, my oldest son is at the age where movies with animals are a big hit. So I knew he would enjoy Warner Brother’s latest animated film, Lion of Judah.
Billed as the first fait-based animated film on Blu-Ray, Lion of Judah tells the Easter classic in a kid-friendly film starring a young lamb as Judah. When Judah is taken by the townspeople for sacrifice, his new friends and stable-mates embark on an adventure to save him. Young kids will enjoy the animal characters – each one more lovable than the next. We especially liked the crazy rooster, Drake, who gives quite a performance, and Monty, a lovable goofy horse. There were also a lot of heart-warming moments in the film, which really touched me. Matthew enjoyed the singing and dancing parts (as any kid would!), which made the story light-hearted and fun for him to watch.
These clips sum up the feel of the movie so well:
