Week 31 on Nutrisystem #NSNation
In my 31st week on Nutrisystem, I spent a lot of time reflecting on my weight loss journey so far. When I started out, I weighed between 150-153 lbs., depending on the day. My weight seemed to fluctuate between those lbs., but as far as I knew, I never dipped below the 150 lbs.
When I first started losing the weight on Nutrisystem, it took me about 5 lbs. before I started to realize that yes, this was actually working. I think that in many areas of my life, I give up too easily. It has been a bit of an internal struggle with myself to make the right, healthy choices that will ensure that I keep losing the weight. 31 weeks feels like a long time, but I am still going strong.
This week’s weight loss results were especially encouraging, and I smiled when I stepped off the scale. I currently weigh 136.6 lbs.!
I am still trying to decide on my end goal. I know that in high school I weighed around 100 lbs., but my body has also changed as I have aged and I have given birth. I also want to be at a weight where I can maintain and not gorge myself on bad foods because I have deprived myself of too many things that I enjoy to the point that it’s depressing me. (Moderation is the key here, and I am still perfecting that skill.)
I am only a few lbs. away from being 130 lbs., and once I reach that point, I’ll make the decision on how much more I intend to lose.
