Wee Urban Review
The weather here in New York is getting warmer each day. We are truly in spring! This means the hot New York summer is right around the corner. Soon we’ll be wearing shorts, t-shirts and sandals. I like to keep my oldest in all cotton clothes during the summer to keep him cool, since he’s so active. Same goes for my little guy – who, now that he’s walking, is keeping up with his older brother. Wee Urban offers the comfort of all cotton, natural clothes that will keep my little guy cool through the summer heat.
We received a cute blue monkey romper to review for my youngest. Made with 100% organic cotton, the romper is soft against the skin. Wee Urban uses only phthalate free, lead safe, eco-friendly inks and low impact dyes on their clothing, which makes me feel good, given the sensitive nature of my son’s skin. The romper has a generous fit, which will allow the romper to last through any growth spurt my little guy may have over the summer. The rompers are made with enough room to accommodate cloth diapers, so they really are a great fit for any lifestyle.
We also received a matching reversible blanket – it too is made of 100% organic cotton. I like to keep a blanket in the car year-round – for an extra layer of warmth on chilly days and as a little bit of protection from the air conditioning on warmer days, and this blanket is the perfect weight for both scenarios. A cute pattern on both sides is just an added bonus! Both the romper, which retails at $28, and the blanket, which retails at $35, would make great baby shower or first birthday gifts.
