Winter in New York can be rough – especially on your skin. It seems as soon as the leaves start to fall, my skin starts to dry out from my lips to my feet. My sons seem to take after me in the sensitive skin department as well – their skin suffers as much as mine in the cold. Winter weather is not our friend! Over the years I’ve tried so many products – different lip balms, body washes, lotions, etc. Most of the time I wind up using Vaseline on my driest parts looking for some relief. But unfortunately, I find that the relief does not last long – and the greasy feeling that it leaves behind is not pleasant. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, which is why the makers of Waxelene have created a product for those like me, looking for a Vaseline/petroleum jelly alternative.
I’m always very skeptical about skin care products that claim to be different than anything I’ve used before, but Waxelene has really made me a believer! My lips suffer the worst in the dry cold winter but from the moment I put a dab of Waxelene my lips, I felt a difference. There was no leftover greasy feeling on my fingers or my lips and I could feel the moisturizing effect almost immediately. The best part was that I didn’t have to continually re-apply for relief. The moisturizing effect lasted for hours. I even converted my equally-as-skeptical husband over to Waxelene!
Another great feature of Waxelene is that it is an all-natural product. Safe for all skin types – it won’t clog your pores and is even safe for delicate baby skin. My youngest son Noah has been experiencing severely chapped lips lately and I’m glad to finally give him some relief with Waxelene. I feel good about using Waxelene because the company does not test on animals and they are committed to the environment – using recyclable glass jars and striving to be as energy-efficient as possible. This product has so many uses and is my new go-to for my family’s dry skin needs!
