Book Review | The Song Trilogy: Beyond Beautiful
Title: Beyond Beautiful (The Song Trilogy)
Author: Jan Bornstein
My Review:
I had a hard time picking up this book. Even though we shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, this cover is out of date and didn’t fit the story. Once I did start reading, it was easy to get past. The love story was an easy read, and covered all of the ups and downs of any relationship, and then the added issues of being in the spotlight and dealing with their pasts. I have an interest in the entertainment industry and I think this story gave a good idea of what it must be like to live in the public eye. The romance between Scott and Jenna was believable and it kept me reading to see what would happen next. Jenna’s experience with her pregnancy was heartbreaking, and one I related to, so it connected me to the character. Overall, it’s a good story that I recommend, and I would probably read the next two books.
