Week 25 on Nutrisystem #NSNation

After having a really bad week, I had a really good week on Nutrisystem. If you remember last week at all, I was having a freak out because I had gained 2 lbs. Over the last week I paid careful attention to what I was eating and made sure to get in all of my water, or as much as I could stand to drink. For me, drinking 64 oz. of water in a day is a lot. I’m still shedding some of those bad habits that I followed for years and years.

I panicked when my dad wanted to go out to lunch one day because he chose Denny’s. There’s absolutely nothing on that menu that counts as healthy, right? Well, wrong. I’m happy to see that Denny’s is now offering lower calorie meals for those who are counting calories and trying to get fit. The salad I ate was really good, too! I know what I’ll be getting if I ever find myself in a Denny’s again.

I even avoided all temptation at the bowling alley when I went for my league this week. Normally I share some beer with one of my teammates (this only happens once or twice a month, and otherwise I do not have any alcohol) and make bad decisions when it comes to the snack bar. Instead, I ordered a side salad with bleu cheese dressing and only used half of the dressing they gave me.

When I weighed myself this week, I was confident I would see weight loss, and I did. I weighed in at 138.0 lbs. I was hoping it would be somewhere in the 137 range, but I’ll gladly take it since this is one of my lowest weights yet since being on the Nutrisystem plan.

There have been a lot of improvements to the Nutrisystem plan that I have experienced in the last few weeks as well that I haven’t talked about much yet. I feel like the new requirements are much more easy to work with (it feels like less food); I’m not thinking about food every minute of the day any more. I also LOVE the addition of the Chef’s Table dinners. They taste fresh and have tons of bold flavor. I have even liked the meals that I thought I wouldn’t enjoy, most notably the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Seriously, it’s amazing!
