Kitchen Extravagaza | Penguin Mugz Ice Cream Maker Review

Nothing gets my children more excited than the idea of making something for themselves in the kitchen. They can now enjoy creating their own ice cream using their Penguin Mugz the Ice Cream Maker ($12.99) by Geospace®.

This fun, creative product for children ages 4 and up was a fun learning experiment in our home school. The kids learned that the salt they add will melt ice, when it melts the ice water is colder than the ice itself, the ice water freezes the aluminum plate and the aluminum plate gets so cold that it freezes the liquid mix…..voila ice cream!

We were very excited to try it out and the kids were delighted when it actually worked. I appreciate that it works without batteries or electricity. In fact, from start to finish it was ready to eat in less than 10 minutes.
