A Turtle’sTale: Sammy’s Adventures DVD Review & Giveaway (US)

On January 3rd, Vivendi Entertainment proudly released a fun and engaging new children’s movie on DVD called A Turtle’s Tale: Sammy’s Adventure. I will admit that I was very excited to view this title with my children because as a native Floridian, the sea turtle is my favorite creature.

This exciting animated children’s movie begins with the journey of a young sea turtle hatchling named Sammy as he races across the beach to get to the ocean before he gets snapped up by a bird or crab. Over the next fifty years, Sammy makes new friends and overcomes natural and man-made obstacles. As he lives his dream of traveling around the world he also falls in love and goes on exciting adventures. This is a movie that the entire family can enjoy and I love that it actually stays true to the actual life of a real sea turtle.

My children and I enjoyed watching this movie together very much and it boasts a cast of celebrity voices including Melanie Griffith, Kathy Griffin and Tim Curry. I really appreciate that it engaged my children who became even more interested in learning how we can protect our oceans and the valuable creatures that live in it.

A Turtle’sTale: Sammy’s Adventures on DVD is now available for purchase online at Amazon.com and at other retailers.
