Holiday Gift Guide | Airplus Spa Value Pack Review

John always tells me how soft my skin is and it’s true my skin is abnormally soft. Well, not all of my skin. My feet are really quite sad. The bottoms are so dry and callused and I know that’s partly my fault. I don’t wear socks…even in the winter. Call me crazy, but I never do. Sadly, this is not the best thing for my feet which are incredibly dry and rough and in need of some serious TLC.

I recently gave myself an at-home foot spa with my youngest daughter, Bridget using the Airplus Spa Value Pack. We turned it into some mother-daughter girl time and we had a blast.

The Airplus Spa Value Pack includes four products essential for an at-home pedicure including:

  • Pedistone: A doubled-sided pumice stone made with 100% pure Indonesian volcanic pumice  with medium and heavy coarseness sides
  • Sugar Scrub: An exfoliant with a special emulsifier to maintain granularity
  • Heel Foot Creme: Luxurious, super-hyrdrating creme made with paraffin for extra moisture retention
  • Aloe Infused Spa Socks: Moisturizing socks infused with Aloe and Vitamin E

We started out by filling old plastic tubs that I use for storage with some hot water for me and warm water for Bridget. Make sure to lay towels underneath incase some water splashes out. For me, I like the temperature to be comfortably hot. I don’t have essential oils so we improvised by adding in some body wash to the water. We soaked our feet for about 5 minutes and it felt so good.

After drying our feet off, I used the Airplus Pedistone on my calluses and rough patches on the bottom of my feet. I used the rougher side since mine are pretty bad and it did work great to smooth them out. Bridget skipped this step. Her feet are still baby smooth.

Next up, we rubbed the Sugar Scrub into our feet. This works to exfoliate and get rid of any dead skin cells and it has a clean and light fragrance. After rinsing off all the scrub, it was time to add the Heel Foot Creme. My dry feet drank up this cream and it made a big difference when I was done. I think if I continue doing this at-home footcare, I can get my feet looking decent again.

When it was time for bed, I put on the Aloe Infused Spa Socks. Let me tell that I normally don’t wear socks, but these ones were so comfortable. It was like my foot was enveloped in a soft, warm cocoon. I slept like a baby because my feet weren’t cold. I like wearing them to bed, but I’m still barefoot throughout the day. Yes, old habits do die hard, but at least now I’m armed with products that help care for my feet.

If you have someone on your gift list who enjoys being pampered, I recommend buying them an Airplus Spa Value Pack. Not only is it a quality product, but it’s also a great price at SRP $12.99. Pick up on one at Shoppers Drug Mart or Zellers Pharmacy as a gift or even for yourself to try!
