Try Out the New Rafflecopter & Enter to Win $25 Amazon GC (WW)
In this blog post, you’ll have a chance to win a $25 gift card to Amazon. It’s a brand new Rafflecopter form, and it’s super-easy to enter. I’ve been chosen to help Rafflecopter test this new widget, so any feedback you can provide me or Rafflecopter would be fantastic!
There are many benefits to this new Rafflecopter form, but the biggest improvement will be that Rafflecopter will no longer rely on cookies as a means of tracking your entries. They’re introducing a sign-in system… you can either sign in with your Facebook account or your name and email address.
There are many other features/improvements of the new widget over the old one, which will be TBA! But for now, enter below, leave us your feedback, and let us know if you see anything that’s confusing or buggy. The purpose of this test isn’t to fully promote the new widget, but to test it’s functionality in the wild and get some feedback before we start letting everyone get access to it.
Giveaway ends Friday, December 1 at 12:01am EST – thanks everyone!
I just input my feedback to enter the giveaway re: Rafflecopter but then I noticed I have to LOGOUT? hmm I should have noted than in giving you feedback but didn’t notice until after I finished the giveaway post. Just wanted you to know. Thanks!
love the new rafflecopter !
really like it!
If it’s not by cookies couldn’t people enter by many multiple email addresses? ip address is how I weed out those people who do that…hmmm
perhaps it won’t be as easy as before to see if we have entered or not ( for long giveaway we can honestly forgot)
but i love it, not sure if it’s because the question were well done or not but i’m ok with it since we can enter with just the email ( yes don’t forget people who can’t or wan’t facebook -_-)
It was easy to enter and I don’t like cookies anyway. As Miki says though, sometimes I can’t remember if I’ve entered a contest or not unless I see it in comments.
I logged in with FB but it will NOT let me enter the data for the tweet & the feedback. SO I am leaving it here:

And I think it’s an interesting idea, but I dislike the thought of having to use FB b/c it’s not the email I typically use for giveaways. Also could allow people with multiple FB pages to enter more than once.
AND… what about people without Facebook – should they get less features just b/c they don’t have facebook – seems unfair. (I have FB so I don’t know what the less features would be).
There is a way to enter with Name/Email instead of Facebook Login, just click the link below the button to login using facebook!
If we log into the form with FB & won how would we be notified? I also logged in with FB not thinking & the email i use for FB i hardly ever into. Also i didnt see a email log in option & only seen a FB one.
On the other hand i like it. Not sure if this one does it but i have noticed some forms will continue to show i have signed up on the giveaway already & some wont. When its a long giveaway or other bloggers having it & i also try to do to much at once so sometimes i will see a giveaway & want to sign up but get side tracked, then i cant remember if i signed up for it or not,so it would be nice for the form to show that. I also put that in the info box. I just dont want to enter 1 more than once & get disqualified.
Looks great!
Hey there Stacie,
I like the new widget. i just started using rafflecopter myself and the old widget is pretty bulky, but effective. This one looks more slick and modern. The log in system is a great way to assure that you don’t miss entries by mistyping your FB or Twitter name. Good stuff! Later!
I like it. Thanks for allowing us to test it out. Seems like it will make entering giveaways easier.
