Over the past several months, I have had the pleasure of working out using several fitness DVDs featuring Kristin McGee. I was most excited to try Weight Loss Pilates because it is a comprehensive yet simple program that focuses on one of my favorite forms of exercise…….pilates. This program is designed to give us the tools to combine an effective toning program along with calorie burning “cardio blasts” in order to get maximum results. Within ten minutes of starting this program, I can feel my heart rate increasing and I begin to sweat. When it is over, I feel like I have accomplished my workout goals and I am encouraged to continue moving and eating right throughout the remainder of the day. Kristin McGee’s teaching style is warm, inviting and not intimidating at all. I also appreciate that this DVD includes an informative booklet from Cooking Light magazine that has helpful nutritional tips and recipes that are quite tasty. This is definitely one DVD that will remain in my weekly rotation as I continue to lose those stubborn post-partum pounds.
