I used to love ordering clothes online, especially at Victoria’s Secret. But what I hadn’t considered was how much of my cleavage would be exposed when wearing some of the shirts I’d ordered. Recently I went through my entire wardrobe and cleared out a few bags of clothing to give away, and found myself on the fence about a sweater and a long sleeve shirt from the Victoria’s Secret catalog that I’d ordered several years ago and hardly worn.
I ended up keeping them, but I knew I would have to find a tank top or other type of garment to wear underneath them. The tank top I tried with the long sleeve shirt bunched up and didn’t look very good, so I didn’t even bother trying it with the sweater.
When we received an email from Cleavitz, I knew I’d finally be able to wear these two shirts again. I’d finally lost enough weight that they looked good on me, but too much cleavage was exposed. Thanks to Cleavitz, I can finally wear these two shirts again!
What is a Cleavitz?
A Cleavitz is basically half of a tank top made from cotton in the Everyday collection; and lycra, lace, and shimmer in the Executive collection. The Cleavitz fits over your bra, and you can adjust it to cover (or show off) the amount of cleavage you are comfortable with.
The Everyday Cleavitz ($29.95) are available in 4 colors: white, black, red, and pink. Sizes range from 0-22. The Executive Cleavitz are available in lace in red or white ($39.95), or shimmer ($34.95) in ivory or charcoal. The lace Cleavitz are only available up to a size 18.
My Cleavitz arrived quickly and was packaged up very nicely. It was folded and tied up with some care information and a lovely black ribbon with pink polka dots.
I was meeting a group of people for the first time, and decided I wanted to wear my white Victoria’s Secret sweater. I have the Everyday Cleavitz in black because it will match both shirts I intend to wear it with, and I was very pleased with how it looked. It complemented the sweater nicely, and even though I was wearing two pieces to complete the look, I only felt like I was wearing one. If I’d worn a tank top underneath instead, I probably would have felt self-conscious, and would have been tugging at my clothes to smooth them out.
The only thing I didn’t like about my new Cleavitz was the tag on the left side; it contains the washing instructions, product website, and some other information. It doesn’t line up with my bra, so it rubs against bare skin and was quite uncomfortable at first. I did get used to it, but I think the same information could be printed in on the back of the Cleavitz; then there wouldn’t have to be a tag.
