Week 14 on Nutrisystem #NSNation
It’s that time of the week, for another update on my journey with Nutrisystem. Thursday the 20th started week 15, so let me catch you up on all my news from the 14th week.
Well, I did it!! I finally lost my 10th lb–and I’m looking and feeling great. As kind of a reward to myself, I had my husband take me shopping for new panties (my old panties were getting too loose, and I now wear a size medium in Victoria’s Secret and Gillian O’Malley from Target), and came home with more than just panties. Additionally, I bought a tight mini-dress (me!!! in a mini-dress!!!) and a slightly-above-the-knees skirt. The great news is that the dress and the skirt are from the brand Xhiliration, which is Target’s Juniors line of clothing and accessories. I don’t think I’ve fit a medium in their clothes for years!
And because I lost 10 lbs., I also earned my first Nutribear. Her name is Pound, she’s a beautiful shade of red, and she is meant to keep her owner motivated to keep losing weight.
My goal weight is to be anywhere between 120 and 130 lbs. But weight looks different on every body, so now my plan is to kind of see how things go when I get to that next 10-lb. milestone, where I will be 130 lbs. I’m still undecided if 130 is my final goal weight; I may push try for between 120-125 lbs.
Pound is going to go on her first outing with me today. Tonight is book club, and we’re going to Iggy’s, which happens to have my very favorite chicken fingers and fries. I’m going to bring her with me to remind me that I should have my long-term goals in mind when eating out. I really want to report on 10/27 that I’ve lost another pound rather than maintained at 140, so it’s important I stick to eating only healthy foods. I had a cheat meal a couple nights ago, and miraculously did not gain, but I’m not going to tempt fate any further!
Hopefully in 15 more weeks I will have a better idea of what my goals are!
I didn’t take my measurements on the 20th, but I will have them for those curious minds on the 27th.
