Real Steel Robots | Meet Noisy Boy

After Charlie’s robot Ambush meets an unfortunate demise, Charlie is in the market for a new one. For $45,000, Charlie purchases Noisy Boy, a once great robot that fought in the WRB (World Robot Boxing). Noisy Boy started losing matches, and as a result he performed in matches in South America and Asia.

Noisy Boy has two signature moves: the shogun trinity and the southpaw pain revolution. He is voice controlled, and it’s actually Max (Charlie’s son) who first instructs Noisy Boy on how to move.

Noisy Boy is impressive to look at, but when it comes to actual fighting, he’s not a good bet.

*Disney/DreamWorks provided me with an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles to see an advance screening of Real Steel. All thoughts expressed are my own.*
