Pur Minerals Review & Giveaway (US & Can)

As a busy mom, I rarely have a lot of time to spend on a daily makeup routine. Mineral makeup is the perfect solution because in just a few minutes, my skin can have a softer, healthier looking appearance. I recently discovered that Pur Minerals® has a 5 piece Beauty-to-Go Collection (SRP $39) that includes their signature products such as the Correcting Primer, Foundation and Bronzer, a Chisel Brush and Impact + Mascara in one fabulous kit!

Here are some of the benefits that you may experience from using Pur Minerals® (from the website):

  • Improved Clarity
  • Diminish the look of fine lines
  • Visual Improvement in skin’s appearance after using this five-piece kit as reported by 90% of women in an eight-week clinical study.

The first step is to apply the Correcting Primer which was designed to “balance skin tone, reduce the look of pores and nourish a brighter, firmer appearance with clinically proven skin-perfecting ingredients.” I pumped a small amount of this creamy correcting primer and applied it to my skin after cleansing and moisturizing. It glided effortlessly onto my skin and absorbed almost instantly. My skin felt so soft and smooth after using the Pur Minerals Primer and my skin was ready for the next step!

Pur Minerals® has revolutionized mineral makeup by creating an ingenious 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup that is easy to use and is not going to spill all over the place like my loose mineral makeup. It is the perfect mineral makeup to take along in your handbag or for traveling too. Featured in Allure magazine, I appreciate that the 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup has SPF 15 and the medium makeup provided natural coverage that effectively corrected and covered my reddened areas. It was very easy to apply this product using the Chisel Brush in the recommended circular motion. I also like that I can increase the coverage as needed by applying another layer for those romantic date nights or special occasions.

Living in Florida, a tan is almost a requirement however after I experienced a recent bout of skin cancer I very quickly learned to obtain my healthy glow from a high quality bronzer instead of the sun. Mineral Glow is perfect for a “sun-kissed” glow that looks very natural on my fair skin and it is infused with antioxidants and Shea butter for the ultimate in healthy looking skin.

Finally, the Impact+ Mascara applied really nicely and I was thrilled with my long, lush lashes. This product did not dry out my lashes at all and it was very easy to apply for a natural look or layer it for a more dramatic curled lash look.

Overall, I really like using the Pur Minerals Beauty-to-Go Collection, especially my favorite new product, the 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup which is exceptional.
