Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Season One DVD Set Review
“Lock your doors, board your windows, monsters-in-training are heading your way!”
About the DVD:
Scary doesn’t get any sillier than Season 1 of the hit Nickelodeon show Aaahh!!! Real Monsters! These monsters-in-training make fright a hoot as they try to learn the tricks of the scary monster trade. Check out Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm and their herculean efforts to master The Gromble’s class on proper scare techniques. So pull up a seat in the Monster Academy, the scariest (NOT!) place under the city dump, and get ready for lessons so bizarre, they’re scary!
This popular television cartoon ran from 1994-2000 on Nickelodeon and was a fan favorite of kids and adults alike. It features three adolescent monsters names Ickis, Krumm and Oblina who all have trouble learning the monsterous trade of scaring humans. Each monster is tutored by the headmaster of Monster Academy and their resulting antics are hilarious. My children love that Krumm has moveable eyeballs and Ickis has long pointy ears that are mistaken for a not- all- that- scary bunny rabbit. My kids are giggling constantly and even my husband and I enjoy the clever jokes and silly pranks. This is the perfect DVD collection for Halloween viewing and would make a great show for Family Movie Nights.
Shout! Factory is proud to release Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Season One on DVD on October 4th, 2011. It features all 13 episodes from season one and has a suggested retail price of $19.93.
To purchase Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Season One DVD set (I noticed that it is currently on sale for only $16.98) you can visit the Shout! Factory Store online.
