Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Toothpaste Review

I have a confession: it’s been years since my last professional dental check-up. In fact, both my husband and I are extremely overdue for a teeth cleaning. A few years ago, I noticed a brown spot near the gum lines on one of my teeth, and it’s kind of a sensitive area. If something too hot or cold comes in contact, I feel a little sting in that region.

I was excited to try the new Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste and toothbrush for just this reason. I would love to get a better clean at home, without potentially causing any sort of discomfort in my mouth. The first thing I noticed about the Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste was its mild taste. Too many toothpastes are overwhelming in both taste and smell, and even a good thorough rinsing doesn’t get it out of my mouth for quite some time. I like that I know that my teeth and my mouth can be clean without an overpowering taste and smell to the toothpaste.

I love the grip on my new toothbrush. It conforms perfectly to my hand, and has never slipped on me. It’s easy to get all of the hard-to-reach areas, and the bristles are soft and don’t make my gums bleed like my old toothbrush often did.

It’s actually fairly common that people experience tooth sensitivity, and the Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste is designed so that you no longer have to avoid foods or drinks which cause those painful flare-ups. The toothpaste acts as a barrier between your sensitive teeth and the foods and drinks that it comes in contact with. Based on clinical studies, it works sooner and lasts longer than any other brand of toothpaste for sensitive teeth.

If you miss eating ice cream on a hot summer day, try the Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste, gentle enough to use in place of your regular toothpaste, and enjoy that tall swirly cone that you’ve been craving.
