Yoga Tone is the latest DVD release by fitness expert Kristin McGee. I have enjoyed working out to her Power Yoga title so I was excited to try Yoga Tone and I wasn’t disappointed.
What really makes Yoga Tone so special in my opinion is that it combines the best of yoga with a strength training routine. I am trying to lose the weight that I gained during three back-to-back pregnancies, particularly in my abdominal area. After completing this routine for a week (3 times), I felt abdominal muscles that I didn’t even think existed anymore! I wasn’t sore but I could definitely feel results from Yoga Tone and I got excited…..very excited! As a busy mom, I also appreciate that I can complete two 15 minute circuits and have hit circuit training, strength training and yoga in 30 minutes. The balance exercises were particularly challenging for me and I felt great when I was able to do it properly by the third time that I did this work-out. I appreciate that I could modify the exercises as needed and will be able to “up-level” when I get to that point. Kristin McGee, Fila’s Yoga Ambassador has a very warm, friendly approach that is never intimidating and I find that very appealing. Make no mistake, she did challenge me but in a very positive way and I look forward to completing more routines.
