dreamgenii Review
I really love when you can multi-task with a product, so when I was offered the chance to review the Dreamgenii Pregnancy Support and Feeding Pillow I was happy to accept because I wanted to see how it works as a nursing prop. As a nursing mom, you dedicate a lot of time to feeding your baby so it is important to be able to accomplish this comfortably.
The design of the pillow is compact but there is plenty of support for legs, back and bump (if you are using this for pregnancy). I really like the firmness of the pillow because a very soft pillow does not allow for the same amount of support as you are either propping your legs (when using as a sleep aid) or propping your baby to nurse. At the same time it isn’t so firm that you feel like you can’t relax your body into it. It was easy to figure out how to adjust the pillow for nursing. I did not feel like I needed diagrams or instructions. This shows that the design is very intuitive, which I appreciate.
The image below shows a woman using the Dreamgenii in the cradle or cross cradle nursing position but it was easy to adjust it to my side so I could nurse my son in football position (under the arm). I like the extra back support this pillow provides me with since other nursing pillows do not and I need to use an additional prop for my back. I did use another small pillow for extra support, but you could prop the Dreamgenii up and nurse comfortably using just this pillow. I wish I had had this pillow throughout my pregnancy!

The dreamgenii pregnancy pillow has been designed to allow you to turn over without having to turn the whole pillow over. Simply turn over onto your right within the pillow (leaving the quilted pad in place) and pass the leg support through the back of your knees to achieve the same level of support. Only minor adjustments are required to achieve a comfortable continuation of your night’s sleep.
I had no idea just how versatile this pillow could be. I wish I knew about this product when my wife was pregnant with both of our kids.
It’s made so that you lie on your left side, which is better for you and baby.
I learned that your skin is your largest organ and sensory stimulation can increase overall comfort and lull your brain into deeper levels of sleep
It was designed to allow a pregnant woman to turn over without having to turn the whole pillow over. Too bad I never heard of this while the mrs was pregnant. This would be great for nursing though.
I learned it is extremely helpful before and after birth.
