Tommee Tippee Review

As a new mom who has chosen to breastfeed, I am concerned about going back to work. Pumping while working is not an easy task, so having a pump that I am comfortable using will make the transition much smoother for me. This is why I was really excited to try the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Electric Breast Pump. This product is a complete breast feeding system that allows you to pump, feed your baby, store your milk and sterilize your equipment. The pump comes complete with all of the accessories you will need, including a 5 fluid oz Closer to Nature bottle with a slow flow nipple and protection lid, a bottle stand, 2 spare valves, 2 protection pods, 6 breast pads and a steri-box that doubles up as a carrying case.

I had been using a hospital grade pump, so I was concerned that this pump wouldn’t be as efficient or allow me to express as much milk. It turns out I prefer the Tommee Tippee pump. The soft silicone cup conforms to your shape, providing you with a very comfortable pumping experience. I am able to pump both sides within twenty minutes. There is a priming setting and 3 different setting strengths for actual pumping. I am able to use the highest setting and still pump comfortably. I would have to say that the only thing I dislike about this pump is that it’s a little louder than what I am used to.

If you are looking for a small, easy to use pump that still has a strong motor, look no further than the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Electric Breast Pump. It is sure to make my transition back to work a lot easier. This product is available at Babies “R” Us (in stores and online).
