Tiger Balm Review

What’s the result of a stormy night, restless sleep and constant tossing and turning? I’ve discovered the answer, and it’s a sore neck. Annoyed with the constant pain, and I do mean pain, just turning my head was a chore. I decided to finally give Tiger Balm Neck & Shoulder Rub a try.

The product is advertised as a pain relieving cream, that’s non-greasy, with a soothing fragrance. As I massaged the cream onto my neck, I noticed that it was a light cream, not heavy as some others. It also proved to be non-greasy, as advertised. Another important component to the cream is the aroma. The scent is quite pleasant. It’s a mild mint smell, which I enjoyed, because mint tends to relax me. The cream also released a pleasing cooling sensation against my skin.

The packaging fails to inform as to how long Tiger Balm takes to work. Therefore, I didn’t know when to expect some sort of relief. The relief was not immediate, but, approximately 20 minutes after the application, I began to feel the pain dull. I went about my daily chores and after awhile, I completely forgot that I had applied Tiger Balm, which was a great sign. The pain was completely gone, but after 2 hours from the time I applied the product the pain had returned once more. It wasn’t as intense, but it was noticeable.

Overall, Tiger Balm is an effective product, which is why I recommend the cream to anyone who experiences neck and shoulder pain. My one complaint is the fact that I wish that it was a bit more potent in terms of relieving pain for a longer period of time. However, it is still a great alternative from the usual pain pills or those other cream/gel products.
