Skin Free Review
My four year old daughter is 1 out of every 3 people who suffers from a skin disease. Her eczema can be severe at times and has caused her immeasurable suffering, itching and irritated skin. I have to be extremely selective with the products that I use on her skin and I am pleased to introduce you to the award winning Skin Free™ Skincare which is a non-toxic line that is safe for delicate skin. One of my daughter’s main triggers for her eczema is the ingredients in products that we use in shampoos, soaps and lotions as well as detergents. Skin-Free™ does not contain perfumes, artificial colorants, steroids, harmful chemicals or petroleum products.
I use the Skin Free™ Extra Moisturizing Soap on all of my children, including Hannah’s delicate skin. This bar soap did not irritate their skin and in fact left it clean and soft using coconut oil, olive seed oil, shea butter fruit, vitamin E and cocoa seed butter. Normally after a shower or bath, Hannah would start to gouge at her skin screaming that it was itchy and I would have to hurry and apply moisturizer. When using Skin Free™ Extra Moisturizing Soap she did not itch and I notice that her skin doesn’t have that tight, dry skin appearance.
We love the Skin Free™ Whipped Tamanu Body Butter which absorbs into the skin effortlessly and there is no greasy residue. I applied it all over their bodies and even used just a touch on their cheeks which can be dry. The moisturizing properties are attributed to Tamanu oil which I learned has been used by the Polynesians for centuries to soothe the skin, treat major skin infections and minor skin abrasions with its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. When combined with oils of olive and shea this product is a wonderful, light and delightfully creamy body butter that is perfect for hot summer days.
I tackle my own eczema on my hands with harsh liquid soaps and love the Antibacterial Foaming Soap which left my hands soft with no irritation. It uses the antibacterial essential oil, Niaouli and cleanses with oils of olive, coconut and castor. A little bit of this foaming soap goes a long way and is a great way to prevent waste for little hands too.
The Chemical Free All Natural Sensitive Skin Sunscreen SPF 30+ is a must-have product for my family because we are fair skinned, live in Florida and I have a history of skin cancer. I find this product to be very effective and use it on myself and my children every day before going outside. It is not greasy at all and absorbs into the skin with no tell-tale white sunscreen residue. It has a wonderful, fresh natural scent and my children have no complaints about it stinging when applied to their face.
Overall, I am very pleased with Skin Free™ Skincare and recommend it to anyone with delicate skin or for those suffering from eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, pregnant moms, extremely dry skin or simply for this who want to use an affordable, high quality line of natural skin care products.
Skin Free™ Skincare is available for purchase at online or you can also use the store locator to find a location in your state by visiting the Skin Free™ website.
