Mrs. Dash Review

“My name is Maureen and I am a saltaholic.”

I am working really hard to get back into pre-baby shape. One of the areas nutritionally that I really needed to improve was lowering my sodium intake. That is no easy task because it is important to me that even healthy food taste great. In my quest to find seasoning alternatives to salts I discovered Mrs. Dash seasonings and marinades. Mrs.Dash seasonings really pack a salt-free flavor punch by incorporating delicious seasonings such as garlic, pepper, parsley, basil, marjoram, oregano, thyme, coriander and more.

I appreciate that Mrs. Dash seasonings are all natural and do not contain MSG. There are lots of recipe ideas to make eating with less salt more delicious than ever. I eat a lot of salads in the summer so I really wanted to try the Zesty Summer Steak Salad. The dressing for this salad combines Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend with red wine vinegar, honey and olive oil to make an absolutely delicious and refreshing salad dressing. My “meat and potatoes” loving husband really liked this recipe and said that the Zesty Summer Steak Salad was satisfying and filling.

Mrs. Dash has a huge selection of seasoning blends and marinades available and I can’t wait to try the Fiesta Lime Seasoning and Zesty Herb Marinade.

You are invited to visit the Mrs. Dash website or their Facebook page to get lots of recipe inspiration to create healthy and tasty dishes for your family. I am going to try the Sweet and Savory Apricot Chicken recipe tonight….it sounds delicious.
