Morph Baby Carrier Review

At first glance, the Mamas and Papas Morph Baby Carrier is daunting in it’s military issue appearance. I was afraid to open it for two days because of this and kept saying to the husband “You try it! Please!”. Who knew it would be as simple as reading- no- looking at- simple picture instructions? I guess I have a bad habit of trying to figure things out on my own when following instructions is so much quicker and to the point.

The Morph consists of two parts- the Parent harness and the adjustable Baby Pod (see- very high tech). The fact that you can put the harness on separately allows you to adjust it easily and comfortably to your body before placing the baby in the Pod and attaching him to you. The harness provides a lot of support and the straps are thick and cushy, keeping them from digging into your shoulders with the weight of the baby. The zips and snaps provide a snug fit across your chest allowing you to secure the harness safely. The Pod itself is well cushioned but also nice and sturdy. I love how it adjusts to give the right amount of head support for your baby as he grows. Once your baby is old enough to hold up his head on his own you can also face him out so he can see everything that is going on around him (a feature that my son will love since at two months old he is already swinging his head back and forth rapidly to see and learn about everything he can)! The Pod is easy to attach and detach from the Harness. Mamas and Papas sells the Harness separately so that Mom and Dad (or other family members) can have their own and not have to constantly re-adjust the one Harness. Also, you can transfer the baby from one person wearing a Harness to another without having to take it off. The Morph provides the perfect fit for baby from 8 pounds to about 26 pounds.

In addition to being safe, sturdy and comfortable, the Morph just looks cool- like the baby carrier of the future. It comes in four modern colors- Lime Jelly, Hunter Green, Plum or Dove Grey and is available in sizes small/medium or medium/large. To learn more visit Mamas & Papas today.
