To stumble using the StumbleUpon toolbar is actually pretty easy. All you have to do is click the thumbs up ” I like it!” for posts that you find interesting- that’s it!
Now the fun part of StumbleUpon is using the toolbar to see all the sites that stumblers across the Internet have discovered. That’s also pretty easy. Basically it’s just hitting the Stumble! button and each time you do, a new site will pop up that you can either click thumbs up “I like it” or click the Stumble! button again to move on to the next post.
In the toolbar, it gives you the option to stumble all your interests or narrow it down to just a specific category. For example, you can narrow down your stumbles to:
- Specific Category (ie. Facebook, Parenting, etc)
- Friends- stumble posts that your friends have discovered.
- Photos- stumble only photos
- Videos- stumble only videos
- Shows you the most popular categories that people are stumbling
Gives you a list of well-known sites (Huffington Post, Wikipedia) and you can choose to stumble posts just on that particular site
What is your favourite way to stumble? Do you tend to just stick to a particular category or do you stumble everything?
