Dr. Scholl’s For Her Review

Wearing those cute summer sandals can really do a number on our feet and Dr. Scholl’s wants to help with their new product line designed specifically for women, Dr. Scholl’s For Her™.

I suffer from a condition called plantar fasciitis which is a fancy name for extreme heel pain due to bones spurs. For years, I have used other Dr. Scholl’s products that give my feet extra protection and minimize the discomfort making my condition easier to live with despite the chronic pain.

That is why I was very excited to try the new Dr. Scholl’s For Her™ product line including fabulous products such as Fast Flats™, Ball of Foot Cushions, Smooth My Sole™ Micro File, Rub Relief Strips and Open Shoe® Insoles.

Fast Flats™ are ingenious! There have been so many times that I have been out in a pair of amazing heels and then after a few hours my feet are killing me. Fast Flats™ come to the rescue with these chic foldable flat shoes. It is easy to tuck into your bag wherever you go so you can change out of your heels. It even includes a pretty gold wristlet to keep your spare pair. I really like the pair of Fast Flats™ that I tried in a size 9-10 and it fit perfectly. The flats are very comfortable and stylish. I am going to keep a pair of these Fast Flats™ in my car so that it is available any time I need to change out of my heels. These would be great for weddings, parties and especially for a night out dancing!

Smooth my Sole™ is a gentle micro file that removes dry, rough skin from the bottom of your feet. I love to use this when giving myself a pedicure. At first, I didn’t think it was working because it is so gentle when using it (unlike the services provided during my professional pedicures) but I noticed that sure enough there were shavings in the collection cup. After using the smoothing pad to finish the process my feet were very soft and smooth. I am very impressed with this product and will continue to use it weekly during the summer to keep my feet looking and feeling great.

The next product in the line that is a great idea are the Rub Relief® Strips which are designed to prevent shoes from rubbing and causing friction so that you can prevent painful blisters. It comes in an easy to use dispenser and includes approximately 5 feet of cushioning foam. I tried these on my flashiest yet most uncomfortable pair of open toes, strappy heels and it stayed in place really well and best of all……no blisters! I was able to get the perfect length because Rub Relief® Strips can be customized and cut to length or perforated into narrower strips. You can use these in any women’s shoe styles.

Ball of Foot Cushions is extremely comfortable with a cushioning gel pad that prevents feet from “sliding forward and eliminates toe scrunch with its small design.” I need these in all of my shoes…..simply a great product that provides a mini massage for women’s feet!

Finally, an insole has been created for all of our open shoes! The Open Shoe® insoles are “ultra thin and provide hidden comfort with a massaging gel for cushioning.” I love how it feels on my feet giving relief when I am wearing my favorite sandals. No need to worry that these will look like inserts because it is designed to look like part of the shoe. I like the ultra-thin design too because I just removed from the packaging and applied to my shoes….there was no need to cut or trim it.

Bravo….Dr. Scholl’s! For Her™ products are made for every women and I truly appreciate the available options to keep my feet comfortable all summer long.
