Sip N’ Go Review

For the first time since I received my Sip N’ Go, we finally had a dry, sunny day so that I could use the Sip N’ Go one of the ways it’s intended to be used. The Sip N’ Go is far superior than a regular water bottle because once the water has been used up, you can fold the Sip N’ Go up and store it in your purse, back pocket, or whatever you use to carry your belongings around.

My husband decided we should go on a picnic, so we packed up Zoe, her diaper bag, and some take-out from Kentucky Fried Chicken. My husband took along a 20 oz. bottle of Dasani, and I decided to bring along my Sip N’ Go. The Sip N’ Go can hold 17 oz. of water, so that is all I brought with me for myself. I had less to carry because the Sip N’Go has a clip that can attach to purses, diaper bags, or even your belt loop. That meant two free hands for me instead of just one! Using a Sip N’ Go also meant that we had less trash to worry about, and I could just fold it up and stick it in my purse when I was done with it. This product would be especially useful on a hot summer day at the amusement park. Just clip it to your belt loop when you go on rides, and because it is mostly flat, you’ll still be able to ride on roller coasters and other rides without a ride attendant telling you it can’t be brought on the ride.

The Sip N’ Go is reusable, so it is eco-friendly in a really big way. If I’m stuck somewhere in need of a drink and I have my Sip N’ Go with me, I can just fill up at a water fountain rather than purchasing a bottle of water or a soda. Additionally, the Sip N’ Go can also be placed on the top shelf in my dishwasher for when it needs a really thorough cleaning.

I especially like that if I want super cold water on a hot day, I can freeze the Sip N’ Go. It’s an FDA-approved product, and is BPA free, so it’s safe for everyone to enjoy over and over again.

Anytime that we go on long road trips, the car quickly fills up with empty water bottles and I run out of leg room in the front passenger seat of the car. The next time we go anywhere, my Sip N’ Go will be coming with me. If we stop to buy bottled water, I’ll empty the bottle into my Sip N’ Go, guzzle down the excess water, and toss the bottle before we even pull out of the gas station.

I also go on a lot of walks during the summer with Zoe in her stroller. We always bring along her hard plastic sippy cup and a bottle of Dasani for me, but the Sip N’ Go should be enough water for the both of us on a short walk to the shopping areas around our apartment complex.

When I start getting outside more for jogging or power walking, I’m going to love having the Sip N’ Go with me. Walking or running with a water bottle has never seemed like fun, and I’ll have my arms free to help me get a better workout.

The Sip N’ Go ($7.99) is currently available in blue or pink, and I love the shades they chose for these collapsible water bottles. Additional caps ($1.99 for a package of 2 caps) can be purchased for the Sip N’ Go, as well as a sport case ($9.99) that comes with a shoulder strap and compartments for carrying keys and a phone.
