Mohawk Home Review

I had been searching for an area rug to decorate my children’s play room but with my daughter’s asthma I have to be very selective. I recently discovered Mohawk Home Baby that uses a new yarn technology which makes it super soft to the touch and comfortable for little ones to play on. I like that it also has latex backing that keeps the rug in place over our carpet and this would be an excellent feature for hardwood floors too. Mohawk Home Baby rugs are made of 100% nylon and I have not noticed any fiber shedding which is very good because it has not triggered an allergy or respiratory symptoms in my daughter despite her playing on the rug every day. Our rug has been so easy to care for too because within two days of placing it in the playroom my daughter dropped a washable marker leaving a visible mark. At first I panicked but then I got to work using a warm water cloth with a bit of natural cleaner and the stain vanished and the rug looked like new again.

I appreciate that these rugs are made in the U.S.A. and the patterns are modern, stylish and fun. I selected the Mohawk Brown Dot rug in blue and the 60”x84” size covered most of the traffic area in their playroom. The color of my rug is true to the photo and description on the website and I find this to be an excellent value at only $89.99. Mohawk Home Baby rugs are also available in size 40”x60” for only $49.99. Mohawk Home Baby rugs would be a nice addition to a baby nursery, child’s room or children’s play room and are available for purchase at
