30 Days to Sanity Review
Does it ever feel like there’s just not enough hours in the day to get everything done? For me, I always feel rushed, stressed and frazzled as I go through my day trying to do as much as I can and it’s taking it’s toll. I want to find the work-life balance that I so desperately need. I’m sure many of you can relate as finding balance is a challenge for many people especially moms. There’s so many responsibilities because you have to look after other people including yourself!
I want to be able to breathe and let off some stress, but felt lacking in how I will do it. I was thrilled when I was able to participate in motivational speaker and best-selling author, Stephanie Marstons, online program called 30 Days to Sanity. This program is perfect for busy moms as its goals are to develop greater personal clarity and increase your quality of quality of life. You will learn how to make time for yourself, create goals, and improve your productivity and much more!
The program is divided up into smaller sections making it very easy to jump right in there and go.
The Stress Management Center includes six podcasts from Stephanie that I found extremely valuable. Her advice really resonated with me especially where she taught me how to say no and not feel guilty about it. As a life-long “people pleaser”, I always feel bad saying no even when it’s something I really don’t want to. Stephanie’s advice made sense to me and I’ve actually been practicing saying no just like she taught me to. I like how each podcast was on a different topic and they were quick to listen. You would be able to easily listen to one each day and it wouldn’t take up too much of your time and still receive the valuable advice.
The Meditation Station was a favourite of mine. Stephanie provides two guided relaxation- one for tension relief and the other for breathing. Stephanie has a very soothing voice and I enjoyed just letting go and focusing on her voice and my breathing. These would be great to do each day or when you are feeling anxious or stressed out.
The Parenting Center has three podcasts and a downloadable workbook detailing Stephanie’s Raising Amazing Kids with Confidence program. Each one was about 30 minutes in length and they made so much sense! No one is the perfect parent 100% of the time and Stephanie made me feel normal and that I’m not the only mom out there feeling out of control with her kids. As I listened to the podcasts, she would stop and ask us to go to workbook and complete the exercise. She also did some guided meditations and one of them was going back to when I was a child and seeing how my parents were with me! I can definitely see now how they have affected my own parenting style.
There’s also a Journal where Stephanie gives you a task and you complete it, Forum and Resource list with sites that you can peruse to learn more.
30 Days to Sanity is a program that needs to be done with a little each day because there is a lot of information to absorb all at once. It can be easily accomplished though because it’s broken down into manageable sections. Stephanie even says that it’s ok to do it with your kids around because many kids have actually liked the course and learned something too. I would recommend it for anyone struggling with work-life balance, parenting and time management issues!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the 30 Days to Sanity Campaign and received access to the webinar and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
