Country Crock Spreads the Love of Vegetables Review

It has always been extremely important to our family that our children grow up with a love for vegetables. We were really lucky that our first two children were always willing to eat their vegetables and even helped out in our organic garden. Our third child however was a bit more difficult because he wasn’t quite as willing to try certain vegetables. With lots of patience and helpful hints from Country Crock® he recently started eating vegetables he previously refused to try before like green peppers, onions and asparagus. While he still doesn’t care for onions, he said that the asparagus we lightly grilled and topped with a dab of Country Crock is “yummy”.

Country Crock® is excited to launch a new ultimate “Veggie Party Kit” that is not only entertaining for children and families but can also be used as an educational tool to get children excited about vegetables. My kids had so much fun helping me in the kitchen using their new vegetable cookbook to make some yummy “kid friendly” vegetable recipes while proudly sporting their stylish kid’s apron. I liked the vegetable chopper which saved me so much time chopping the veggies for dinner. After lightly steaming our vegetables we added a touch of Country Crock® instead of butter and a dash of sea salt for an amazing dinner with broccoli, corn and sweet potatoes. Their favorite part of the “Veggie Party Kit” is the Gardening how-to-kit so they can grow their own vegetables and herbs and I loved the re-usable eco-friendly grocery tote that I took to the farmer’s market to stock up on our produce. Every day my kids use the colorful, “Today I ate a Rainbow” kid’s calendar and I really love to see their enthusiasm when we use products from the Country Crock® “Veggie Party Kit”.

Are you looking for a way to make your veggies taste delicious while cutting down on saturated fat? Country Crock® is an excellent way to make your vegetables taste better than ever. I haven’t used Country Crock® as an adult (my parents always had it on our dinner table when I was living at home) but will be using this product on our own table from now on. I was really impressed with the recipes and tips available at Country Crock® on their Facebook page and I can’t wait to try the “Loaded Broccoli Potatoes” and the “Honey Glazed Carrots”

Starting May 18, visit the Country Crock Facebook page and click on the “Love Your Veggies” tab (on the left-hand side) to submit a photo of your family enjoying veggies for the chance to win $100 worth of groceries!
