BareEase & Cream Review

Waxing can be painful, but beauty is pain, right? Unfortunately, it’s something that I need to do with my eyebrows, upper lip, and chin on a regular basis so I don’t go out in public looking like Wolfman. But waxing is one of those things that can get really costly very quickly. My favorite local salon charges about $10 for eyebrow waxing, and less expensive salons like Fantastic Sams and Supercuts barely cost any less. But since my eyebrows are very pale blond, I tend to ignore them.

I can’t ignore my chin and upper lip, however, because I get really dark hairs that grow there. I have tried tweezing, waxing, and even shaving when I have become desperate to get rid of that unwanted hair. Since my hair grows back really quickly, shaving isn’t the best option because after a day or two I have really subtle stubble. Tweezing is really painful, so I stick to waxing. Even though waxing really does hurt, it’s the option that works best for me. Many of the at-home kits come with a numbing agent that you apply after you wax that lessens the pain.

When I heard about BareEase & Cream, I knew that this was a product designed especially with people like me in mind. BareEase & Cream was designed by a woman, Dr. Edna Ma, who has knowledge of anesthesiology and designed a topical cream that could be applied to the area that was going to be waxed.

For review, I received a small tube containing 0.3 oz. of the wax numbing cream. To use this product, you need to make sure that you are not in a huge rush to go anywhere, and can devote at least 40 minutes to get the waxing done. Prior to applying any wax, you apply a thin layer of the numbing cream to the area you are going to wax. Then you let it sit on your skin for 30 minutes, and then you can start waxing.

I applied the cream to my upper lip and to my chin. I could feel the cream already working after just a few minutes, so I had high hopes that this was going to work out just fine. After 30 minutes had passed, I warmed up the wax I have on hand for these occasions and began to apply it. It wasn’t a completely “ouchless” procedure, but my eyes didn’t do their normal watering and my nose wasn’t twitching with pain. This pain relieving cream made the waxing process almost enjoyable!

I would definitely recommend this product to any woman who doesn’t want to deal with the cost of going to salons every couple of weeks for waxing jobs. I have never waxed my bikini area before since I imagine it’s very painful, but after discovering this amazing cream, I would definitely consider it! It’s almost bikini season, so get yourself some of this product now and get beach or pool ready today!
