All Terrain Review
I am a fan of All Terrain® after using their winter protective skin care sunscreen and lip balm which were fantastic. I recently had the opportunity to try products from their skin care line on my four year old daughter’s severe eczema. It breaks my heart to watch her suffering with itching, broken skin on her feet, elbows, hands and legs. What brought my attention to All Terrain’s Kids Skin Care Line is that it targets dry, chapped and cracked skin while using natural ingredients. It is paraben-free and does not contain harsh chemicals.
The first product that I tried is the Kids Eczeam Cream which “protects and relieves eczema, irritations and itching. My daughter’s skin on her feet was particularly dry and painful so I was worried about applying the cream to her feet for the first time and making it worse. With other products I have used in the past, she would start to cry and scream in agony because the so called eczema cream made it hurt worse. I took a photo of her feet before I applied the Kids Eczeam Cream and hoped for the best. Within seconds she laid back and sighed deeply…..within a few minutes she said that it “makes my feet feel better and they are not itching.” A small amount of the eczema cream covers the affected areas of her feet and I have been very pleased so far with the results we have achieved using this product. A two ounce bottle of this product is well worth the retail price of $7.99 and a little goes a long way.
I also tried the Kids Skin Soother Gel™ which worked really well on her dry skin but I found that it also works great on minor cuts, scrapes and burns. This product is designed to provide temporary protection for “chapped, chafed or cracked skin.” It contains skin soothing Aloe Vera, Chamomile Extract and other natural ingredients. I find myself using this gel for multiple uses and it has been very effective. More importantly, my kids like how it feels so they are not resistant to it being applied to the affected area.
The All Terrain® Kids Lip Armour Twin Pack is so soothing for chapped lips that I “accidently” took one of these balms for myself. Living in Florida, I appreciate that it includes SPF 25 and contains natural ingredients including almond oil, shea butter, beeswax and vitamin E. My kids (and I) enjoy the yummy taste of Cherry and Bubble Gum flavors. I appreciate that it is petroleum and paraben-free so I don’t have to worry about applying harsh chemicals to my children’s sensitive lips. Our lips were soft and free of cracks and chapping.
