About the Book:

101 Inspirational Stories of Joy, Love, and Wonder

Becoming a new mom is the most amazing event. This book celebrates the physical, emotional, and spiritual experience of having a child and creating a family. New and expectant moms will delight in these heartwarming, insightful, and humorous stories about raising babies and toddlers. This book is full of stories by other moms sharing the wonders of early motherhood, from waiting for the baby, whether through pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy, to those early weeks and first few years, and everything in between!

My Review:

The stories in this book brought me back to my days as a new mom. I remember with Olivia, my first, how clueless I was! I didn’t realize that babies didn’t sleep through the night. It was a big adjustment for me as a young mom. With Bridget, I was an old pro and I found myself being much more confident and comfortable. Plus, I knew what to expect!

As I was reading the stories, I shared many of the same sentiments as the new moms. I remember breastfeeding Olivia and how much I struggled with it. The chapter on breastfeeding was one of my favourites in the book. I could totally relate how difficult it was (like with Olivia), but so much better and a great experience with Bridget.

There was a story in the book about a lady delivering her baby in the car on the way to the hospital. That’s exactly what just about happened to me with Bridget!! We literally just made it to the hospital for her birth. There wasn’t even a doctor there to deliver her either!

This is the perfect book for a new mom and would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift.

*I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
