Book Review | The Coming Economic Armageddon

Title: The Coming Economic Armageddon: What Bible Prophecy Warns about the New Global Economy

Author: David Jeremiah

My Review:

The title of this book seemed a bit ominous and maybe even scary, but I was intrigued to see what it was all about. In the book, David Jeremiah tells of what he calls “the new global economy,” how to live in the midst of it, how to live with it, and how it all relates to what the Bible says about such things. The main focus of this book is what people in Churches and Christian circles call “the end times,” which refers to the time when God will come to earth to take believers with Him to heaven. {Very simplified explanation! It’s much more complicated than that!}

The great thing about this book is that it helps clear up how world finances line up with what the Bible says about the Lord’s return and the author also warns people to steer clear of being too materialistic and getting into debt~ sound advice I would say. Some people hear the term “end times” and either shake in their boots or think Christians are a bunch of lunatics, but the book was not scary and was actually very informative and intelligently written.

If you are confused about what you hear in the media, or maybe you just have questions about religion and what all this talk means, I know you will enjoy this book. Although daunting at times because of it’s content, it is not terribly difficult to read or follow. I actually found it very interesting and informative. Heavy, but definitely enjoyable.

*I received a copy of this book to review but I was not financially compensated in any way. The opinions expressed are my own and are based on my observations while reading this novel.*
